Megan Adds Another Overall Victory to her Resume in the Name of Parkinson's Disease

Monroy does it again!

Megan captures once again another overall female victory at the beautiful Carpinteria Olympic Distance triathlon.  This comes as no surprise to those that know the natural athlete but to Megan this time around, the overall victory came as a pleasant surprise.

After a bit of a break in training, she comes alive with a huge heart felt performance.

Here is what she had to say just after the race,

"So stoked! What a pleasant surprise! Beautiful course and friendly folks! Today was dedicated first and foremost to the Lord above, for my incredible sponsors, supporters, and wonderful family and friends throughout the years whom all this fun wouldn't have been made possible without, for all others battling illness while maintaining their life, and lastly but not least, for my wonderful Uncle John battling Parkinson's every day of his life!! Uncle John has always been my inspiration for racing strong and it was a gift seeing him at the finish line."
